METTE EDVARDSEN

Mette Edvardsen started to work as a dancer for Les Ballets C. de la B. in 1996. She has collaborated on several projects by the company, with Hans Van den Broeck (1996-2000) and with Christine de Smedt (2000-2005). She has performed in pieces by Thomas Hauert/ Zoo (B), Bock/ Vincenzi (UK), Mårten Spångberg (S), Lynda Gaudreau/Cie. De Brune (CAN), and others. She created and produced two pieces in collaboration with Lilia Mestre (P/B), and the project Sauna in Exile in collaboration with Heine R. Avdal, Liv Hanne Haugen and Lawrence Malstaf in 2002/2004. She choreographed and danced a version of Thomas Lehmen's Schreibstuck together with Christine de Smedt and Mårten Spångberg in 2004. two short video's/films that were made during the preparation of the show or else nobody will know. presentations at Performatik 2 in Kaaitheaterstudios Brussels (2007), Plankton in Les bains::Connectives in Brussels (2008). The video's will also be a part of the websiteplatform that comes out of the In-Presentable Festival La casa Encendida in Madrid (2008/ 2010).
