For her new piece, Sms and love, Ayelen Parolin, Argentinian choreographer based in Brussels, works on the intimacy of friendship with a strong autobiographical drive but touches also wider matters such as the "cultural" and the "social" in the construction of identity within a small group of friends, "girl friends". She does so by inviting three very different people into a very intense creative process: everyone is personally engaged and welcomes us to use the theatre to go beyond certain limits.

Dans sa nouvelle création intitulée Sms and Love, Ayelen Parolin, chorégraphe argentine installée à Bruxelles, travaille sur l'intimité de l'amitié. D'une vive tendance autobiographique, l’œuvre explore néanmoins des thèmes plus vastes tels que le « culturel » et le « social » dans la construction d'une identité au sein d'un petit groupe d'amis, plus précisément « d'amies intimes ». Elle invite trois personnes très différentes à s’impliquer dans un processus créatif très intense : tout le monde est personnellement engagé et invite à utiliser l’art dramatique pour dépasser certaines frontières.

De nieuwe creatie van de in Brussel gevestigde Argentijnse choreografe, Ayelen Parolin, heeft als titel Sms and Love en gaat over de intimiteit van vriendschap. Een choreografie met een sterk autobiografisch karakter maar waarin ook ruimere thema’s aan bod komen zoals het ‘culturele’ en ‘sociale’ aspect van de identiteit binnen een kleine vriendengroep en meer bepaald onder vriendinnen. Parolin vraagt drie erg verschillende vrouwen om mee te werken aan een bijzonder intens creatieproces: iedereen voelt zich persoonlijk betrokken en zet aan om via theater bepaalde grenzen te overschrijden.
