Two individuals try to create a new language of their own based on their individual methods. Not shunning confrontation, they move into each other's thoughts, touching borders and crossing them, shaping the outlines of a new and common reality.
Mind the Gap is a performance, a video installation, a spacial installation and a publication. It's about borders and the space where two extremes meet. They investigate the different aspects of the transitional moment. Why do extremes crossover, or why don't they? It's about being bold and trying, about the fear of losing control and meaning, about failure, about touching the elusive and obscuring it again.

Deux individus essaient de créer un nouveau langage personnel, basé sur leurs propres façons de travailler. Sans éviter les confrontations, ils touchent les limites afin de concevoir une nouvelle réalité commune.
Mind the Gap est un spectacle, une installation vidéo, une installation spatiale et une publication. L'image centrale est la frontière, l'endroit où se touchent les extrêmes. Mind the Gap cherche la transition. Que fait fusionner les extrêmes? Qu'est-ce qui les fait disperser? Il s'agit de l'audace et de l'essai, l'angoisse de perdre le contrôle et le sens, d'échouer, essayant de toucher l'insaisissable.

Twee individuen proberen, beiden vanuit hun heel specifieke manier van werken, een nieuwe eigen taal te ontwikkelen en gaan daarbij de confrontatie niet uit de weg. Ze bewegen zich in elkaars gedachten. Ze tasten hun grenzen af, overschrijden die, en geven vorm aan een nieuwe gemeenschappelijke wereld.
Mind the Gap is een performance, een video installatie, een ruimtelijke installatie en een publicatie. Het grensgebied staat centraal, de ruimte waar de uitersten elkaar raken. De twee onderzoeken de verschillende aspecten van het overgangsmoment. Wat maakt dat uitersten in elkaar overslaan, of juist niet? Het gaat over durven en proberen, de angst om controle en betekenis te verliezen, om te mislukken, het ongrijpbare proberen te grijpen, en dat te verdoezelen.
